MotoTech, in collaboration with Safetech, offers a strong and durable solution towards the safety woes of riders. These armour inserts are lightweight and flexible and assist in protecting your body parts to the optimum, while on two or more wheels. Made from VISCOFlex, a special polyurethane formula, the Safetech armours are indicated for touring garments.

VISCO Flex prevents trauma to the human body by three methods:
1) Shock Absorption: Material absorbs impact energy through phase change (hardening).
2) Shock Delay: Material delays the transmittance of some shock to the human body over a longer period of time.
3) Dissipation: Impacts are dissipated over larger areas of the body.

A good product

I purchased the project & it fits my Solace Air X jacket perfectly. Earlier I had a thermacol/rubber like insert which was is of no comparison to Safetech level 2 armour.

Awesome!

Bought this as an upgrade to the pathetic foam back in rynox air gt. Even though the measurements of height and width match the stock one, the shape makes it unable to fit the armour pocket totally. So now the velcro strap of armour pocket cant be closed, but that doesnt cause any troubles. Armour is definitely worth the upgrade. Don't even realise its different from stock one while riding :D

Armor for the back

I bought this as an insert that will go into my existing leather jacket. It will undoubtedly protect my back in the event of a fall of my motorcycle.
